Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own,
1 Cor. 6:19 ESV

When I was first baptized in the Holy Ghost, I had realised then that I am not walking alone, there is a personality accompanying me wherever I go.

Now I know some people might immediately think that probably I have a personality disorder or something. Absolutely not!

Folks, the Holy Spirit of God is real, we are talking here about a ‘He’ not a ‘it’. The Bible tells us that we have been purchased by the Blood of Jesus so we are God’s properties if I may put it like that. So because the Holy Ghost is the Spirit of God the Father and of also of God the Son, Jesus Christ, we therefore belong to Him. The Bible says also that if we don’t have the Spirit of Christ we ‘ are none of His’.

So we need to be constantly reminded that we are not our own property once we receive Jesus Christ and His holy Spirit.

Anyways guys, if you want to have the Holy Ghost in your life, it is always and only through a relationship with Jesus Christ. If you confess Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved, the Bible tells us. (Romans 10: 9-10).

And when Paul had laid his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they began speaking in tongues and prophesying.
Acts 19:6 ESV

I love praying in tongues. The Bible says that when we pray in tongues we speak mysteries that only God can understand and the Spirit of God helps us to pray the will of God for others  and for ourselves.

I remember praying in the Spirit sometime for five hours, when I was reaching towards the sixth hour, I was having this uncontrollable urge to laugh and be joyful,  I just could not control it, it was amazing!

One other major fact of praying in tongue is that you just feel loved and “overloved” by God if I may put it like that. I have also noticed that once you ‘are into praying in tongues’, you become ‘addicted’, it is not only powerful but it is also very enjoyable because the Spirit of God is the Spirit of JOY. Basically you could pray for several hours without even noticing the length of time.

So, what about you? Have you ever prayed in tongues, would you like to? In order to flow in that type of prayer you need first to have Jesus in your heart as your Saviour and Lord, once you receive Him, you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.  You can just say a prayer like this: Lord Jesus I repent of my sins, come into my heart, be my Lord and Saviour and baptize me with the Holy Spirit in Jesus’s Name, amen. If you have said this prayer with all your heart, you can be sure He has heard you, CONGRATULATIONS. You now need to get established in a Bible believing church where you will grow in your faith with others.

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. Deut. 6:5 ESV

You know sometimes I ask myself why God loves me so much! The Bible tells us that we love Him because He first loved us. (1John 4:9). When I think about how much God has shown His love for me, I cannot but love Him even more and more.

One of the biggest proofs I have about God’s love for me is His protection over my life. God has delivered me so many times from the hand of evil, death and numerous other evil things! I have been in many situations where if not for God’s Mercy and Protection I would not be here now to tell the story.

God is good, God is love, God is light and there is no darkness at all in Him.  (1John 1:5)

If you are not walking with God, I encourage you today to invite Jesus Christ into your life as your Lord and Saviour, be born again spiritually and you will see and enter the kingdom of God. Jesus says:

“Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
John 3:3 ESV
And Jesus says again:

“Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.”
John 3:5 ESV

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, Gal. 5:22 ESV
Jesus says ” Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus you will recognize them by their fruits.”
Matt. 7:19‭-‬20 ESV

A tree is known by its fruits. When we are displaying the fruits of the Spirit, we are showing that we are grafted to the right tree. No matter how someone may try to conceal their true nature, sooner or later it will be revealed by the outcome of their actions or reactions. Jesus used this illustration concerning the false apostles and prophets who deceive by pretending they are serving the true God whereas they actually detest and fight anything that comes from the Living God, JEHOVAH.

Let us strive to be grafted to the TREE OF LIFE Who  bear good fruits so we can display His fruits and draw more men to come and have their rest under His shadow.
