The purpose of Light is to do away with darkness. God is Light and in Him there is no darkness at all.  (1John 1:5). The Bible tells us that those who do wicked things do not want to come to the Light because they are afraid that their deeds might be exposed!

Wherever there is Light, there are goods works. Light always overtakes darkness. There is so much to say about the topic of LIGHT but in summary what I will say is that Jesus is the King of Light, the Light of the world as He says it in the following passage of the Bible:

Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
John 8:12 KJV
So if you want to be walking in the Light, there is no better person than Jesus Christ to lead you into that path. Invite Him now to be your Guide, the Lord and Saviour of your life

One of the great blessings in knowing God is the benefit of Him directing you in your next steps!

I have had numerous encounters in dreams where God would show me what is coming. It is not only about the future but also about events or circumstances that are happening right now in the present!  How? The Holy Spirit is the One that counsels us and  shows us the ” what, how, when and who” ( John16:13)

Ooooh, the blessings of having the Spirit of God  living with us and being in us.

But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
Rom 8:11 KJV

I don’t know how and where to start when it comes to me expressing my appreciation and love for God?

When I said “my God my everything” that is exactly how I would like to refer to concerning my relationship with God. I know some people get offended when you talk about “relationship” but that is precisely what it is all about!

God is a not a “thing”, He is a person and He has a heart and he has passion and feeling like us?.

I am not talking about “religious rites or regulations”here;  I am talking about a one to one interaction with the Kings of kings. Some people see God as that superior being that is watching over the affairs of the world and who would sometimes intervene if He”can”. God forbid. Though GOD is THE MOST HIGH, he does not automatically intervene in the affairs of men unless people give Him Licence to do so! That is why we are given the choice to decide for ourselves, He does not force Himself on people?

My God is indeed my everything. I will not have enough words to explain what God mean to me. If we have  God in our lives we have everything because “He fills all in all” the Bible tell us.

And he subjected everything under his feet and appointed him as head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of the one who fills all things in every way.
Ephesians 1:22‭-‬23 CSB

If you want to know that intimate relationship with God of the universe, I invite you to make Jesus Christ the Lord and Saviour of your life just as the following passage of the Bible puts it:

If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. One believes with the heart, resulting in righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, resulting in salvation.
Romans 10:9‭-‬10 CSB

Ah! Peace, peace and peace always!

You know I believe the most important thing that sustains a person is PEACE. When we have peace we display our very best not only towards our fellow human beings but most importantly to ourselves.

First let’s try to give a definition of the word “peace”:

The Oxford Languages Dictionary puts it as follows

1) freedom from disturbance, tranquility

2) a state or period in which there is no war or war has ended.

Hummm, interesting. When our mind is at peace, we tend to know what we are doing. When we have peace we have hope, we have this inner confidence that everything is going to be OK.

There is an even superior kind of peace I would like us to consider today” The Peace that surpasses all understanding”, in other words the PEACE OF GOD.

In the book of Isaiah chapter 9 verse 6 Jesus is referred to as the PRINCE OF PEACE. Yes indeed, He is the One that gives us the “true peace” that no one or nothing can ever remove from us once we invite Him to enter and manage our lives?

If I were to elaborate on the subject matter of peace now there would not be enough time for me to do it because it’s very vast.

If you have not experienced yet the peace of God, may I introduce you to the PRINCE OF PEACE, the Lord Jesus Christ?

For a child will be born for us, a son will be given to us, and the government will be on his shoulders. He will be named Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.

Wow. what a statement, what a hope! Have you ever thought what happens after death? I do and all the time?. Why? because that is the most important matter we shoul be thinking of while we are still alive and kicking on this earth?, because once we step into Eternity that will be it! Done, dusted, case dismissed!

Jesus rose from the dead and He is the only One who has the key to life and death. For Him to declare that He is the resurrection and the life, it means that He definitely has the ultimate power over death and hell, hallelujah?

So if we want to garantee our eternity with the “WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE” ( John 14:6), we must make sure we are in Jesus’s boat and are part of His winning team?. The following Bible passages explain what to do to have eternal life:

Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, each of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Acts 2:38 CSB

If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. One believes with the heart, resulting in righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, resulting in salvation.
Romans 10:9‭-‬10 CSB

So just like we take life insurance and all kind of other covers in life, let’s make it our first priority to take our Insurance for our Eternal Resting Place with the King Eternal, the Lord Jesus Christ?
