I woke up this morning with this powerful thought:
LOVE THE LORD MORE THAN EVER THIS YEAR?
In fact the Bible tells us that loving the Lord is the most important and first commandment; and the second is like it ” love your neighbour as yourself”
I know this may sound strange to some people but actually the Bible says that if we follow these two commandments it is like we are fulfilling all the law.
Why? Because GOD IS LOVE. And everything we do must be done with love. Jesus says that by obeying this commandment, people will know we are his disciples. In other words, it is not just by carrying a bible and going about preaching the gospel (which is good and right) but it is mainly by acting with love towards mankind.
I pray that this year we will strive to apply the principles of LOVE in our lives. Having said that, it is not just an easy thing to do! But as expected God has already provided a solution to every thing?. It is the Holy Spirit that helps us to LOVE with GOD’s kind of love.( Romans 5:5). So if we want to know the God kind of love and spread it towards others, we must ask the Holy Spirit to help us because HE IS OUR HELPER. If you don’t know the HOLY SPIRIT you can by inviting JESUS to come into your heart and be your LORD AND SAVIOUR just as the following passage declares:
Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, each of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

I sincerely hope that all of us will know the immeasurable and immense LOVE OF GOD this year and will continue to seek for it more and more in Jesus’s Holy and Wonderful Name.
